To this day I have no clue as to why Justin Currie is (i) not widely acclaimed as one of the best songwriters of the past 40 years, nor (ii) why is he not covered by Country music artists on a daily basis.
Such a great song that does not get the attention it deserves, the line "yeah, sure you gave some girl your heart But you never used it anyway" is probably one my most personal del amitri lyrics and probably my favorite of all their lyrics.
